Idag kom nyheter från Currie Rose och kursen föll brant. Efter -34% nedgång och efter att den stillat sig på denna nivån så tog jag in Currie Rose på 0,225 CAD. Den slutade på 0,235 CAD under extremt hög omsättning. För att få likvida medel sålde jag Excel (med ca 1 600 kr i förlust).
Gissningsvis berodde fallet på väldigt högt uppskruvade förväntningar på borresutatet. Den riktigt stora guldfyndigheten hittades inte denna gången. Det som lockade mig till köp var istället VD:n Harold Smiths uttalande i nyhetsbrevet:
"We hold a very large and strategic land position in the Lake Victoria Greenstone Belt, a proven gold producing region with several significant deposits and operating mines in close proximity to our properties, 2011 is going to be our busiest year ever for exploration as we will be working vigorously to unlock the value of our projects. We are in a prolific area of Tanzania where of course there are also additional opportunities and potential synergies that we are examining. In that regard our focus is on advanced situations and if they have the potential to enhance shareholder value, we will pursue them."
Dessutom rekommenderas aktien av Bull Market Run, som ofta verkar kunna hitta guldkornen.
